“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Kate is a board certified Family nurse practitioner originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and psychology from the University of Vermont. She worked as a medical assistant and EMT in Vermont, Massachusetts and Colorado. She then went on to receive her degrees in nursing from MGH Institute of health professions in Boston, MA. While in school, she worked as a homecare nurse for pediatrics as well as geriatric hospice. 

She recently relocated to San Diego to enjoy the surf and sun of Southern California. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and cooking.
