Dr. Karen Y. Kim is a family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kim is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Since 2005, Dr. Kim has cared for patients in Newport Beach, building a reputation for compassionate, personalized healthcare and a strong commitment to preventive medicine and wellness. Fluent in Korean, Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Dr. Kim now sees patients at Perlman Clinic’s Newport Beach Avocado Ave location, where she offers comprehensive primary care services focused on helping patients achieve and maintain optimal health throughout every stage of life.
