Dr. Kathryn Davis Germeraad, DO, MBA, MS is a board-certified internal medicine physician and fellowship-trained specialist in Addiction Medicine who is proud to join the team at Pearlman Clinic. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care that supports the whole person—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Dr. Germeraad (fondly referred to as Dr. G) received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN before earning her Master’s in Biomolecular Science. She attended medical school at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency in East Tennessee. Dr. G pursued advanced fellowship training in Addiction Medicine at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders, with a focus on restoring long-term health and quality of life. She also provides women’s health services, lifestyle medicine, and adolescent medicine.
She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients through trust, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans. Dr. G relocated to North County San Diego with her husband who grew up in the area. In her free time she enjoys traveling, exercising, knitting, crocheting, baking, and playing with her Labradoodle. She is honored to serve her new community and looks forward to welcoming new patients to the practice.
