“AGNP, Friend, Advocate”
Melyssa Huang, DNP-BC, RN, BSN, is a Nurse Practitioner from Seattle, Washington. She attended Northwest University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree with a minor in chemistry and math. She then graduated from Seattle Pacific University with her doctorate in Nursing Practice. She was the youngest person in Washington state to obtain her Bachelor’s and Doctorate degrees in Nursing, graduating with honors from both universities.
She has been a registered nurse for over 10 years and a nurse practitioner since 2021. She signed contracts before graduation from each degree. As a registered nurse, she has experience in emergency room, operating room, and intensive care nursing. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has been a lead sleep medicine provider, training other providers in multiple states, running several clinics, and managing sleep medicine patients and staff since 2021. She is passionate about educating patients and promoting patient advocacy.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her three children and anything outside or on the water.
