Nicole Murphy FNP-BC

“FNP-BC, Friend, Advocate”

Nicole Murphy is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) with 20 plus years of healthcare experience in  a variety of settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and began her career in the Cardiovascular and Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Her time in the ICU shaped her into a detail-oriented and thoughtful clinician, giving her a deep appreciation for the resilience of patients and the importance of early symptom recognition, clear communication, and preventative care. Nicole completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Rush University before moving to San Diego, where she discovered her love for working in the post-acute and outpatient setting.

She enjoys bringing her critical care background into primary care—implementing strong preventative care measures, providing quality care and education to helping patients navigate chronic conditions, and empowering them to feel confident in their care plans.
