“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Nina is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Neurobiology and Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before continuing her education and obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.

While completing her doctoral training, Nina worked as a registered nurse within the Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Most recently, she practiced as a dermatology nurse practitioner in a private practice in Northern California, providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care.

As a dermatology nurse practitioner, Nina’s philosophy of care is grounded in a patient-centered approach that emphasizes compassion, education, and evidence-based practice. She believes that skin health is not only a reflection of physical well-being, but is also deeply connected to self-esteem and overall quality of life. Her goal is to build lasting relationships based on trust, education, collaboration, and a shared commitment to lifelong skin health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Nina enjoys hiking, running, spending time at the beach, trying new restaurants, and exploring all that San Diego has to offer.
